Vern & Glena’s Micro Wedding

Vern & Glena’s micro wedding was my first wedding assignment
of the year. The last wedding that I shot was back in November
so I was a little thrilled and refreshed aside from the fact
that it was one of those anything goes kind of event. I remember
arriving at the Pink Door past 6AM because theirs was a 10AM
wedding at Archbishop’s Palace.

The reception that followed was no different. It was just
immediate family and us. There was no program except for the
little traditions which resembled pretty much, my wedding too.
We took a few portraits afterwards and headed home sometime
in the afternoon.

Thank You Vern & Glena.

An Afternoon in the Mountains

Work has caught up with me lately, you know?
It’s not photography work but it isn’t all too bad
In fact, I’m pretty happy where I am work wise
This means fewer blog posts, however

Late in January, Jam, Di & Rj brought me to the mountains
We had native chicken soup and rice for lunch
And walked around with a little mix of sun & cold breeze
I took pictures of course

The last time I took pictures for this bunch was in late 2020
And I couldn’t be happier we met again for these.
See you in May everybody.

Fiesta sa Almanza

This weekend we were fortunate to get the chance
and travel up north to Manila. Miguel & Coxon’s
grandparents, including the rest of the family haven’t
seen the kids in a while so we decided to have
and advanced birthday celebration for both boys who
turns 1 and 9 this month.

What was meant to be just a small affair grew bigger
by the minute. Janice & myself, however, decided to have
a classic party and celebrate just at home.

Mama Julie spearheaded the cooking, we ordered Cebu lechon
and the rest of the guests brought unimaginable amounts of food.
Everyone had the time of their lives including the kids.
Happy, happy birthday Miguel & Coxon. Cebu napud sunod!

A Rainy Morning in Mactan

Raindrops kept falling on the morning of our shoot
Nevertheless, I drove all the way to Dusit in Punta Engano
Nicko and I had been back and fourth about this shoot
And rain was not going to stop us

Luckily we found a covered spot just over looking the Mactan Channel
Like always, we just exchanged stories about so many things
And in between, I took pictures of Nicko, Mariel & Yeli
We ended it with breakfast.
Thank you Master & Mariel :)

Delta & The Gang

Last week, I found myself driving when everyone was still asleep
I was going to Plantation Bay for an early morning shoot
Delta, who hails from Australia, has asked me to take pictures
While her family & friends are here in Cebu

I found the drive rather wonderful and calming
There were a few cars and it was one of those days
When the weather was kind of nice

As usual, I drove longer than the time it took me to take
These pictures
Because, of course, when kids are involved
You gotta be quick with the shutter.
Thank You Delta & The Gang!!!
