I’ve been thinking if I’ll write about things, you know?
Because the world’s a little wounded nowadays
And I always want to write with a little purpose
But just because we’re wounded doesn’t mean we don’t have to go on
These times call for everyone to be resilient

These two are doctors who got married back in January
And I’m not actually sure if they’re in the frontlines
Nevertheless, there’s not enough words to express our gratitude
To those working in the frontlines all over the world
Now, more then ever, is a time we need to help each other

I guess when we have that in mind
There’s nothing that we can’t conquer.

We’ve been coming back here since a few years ago.

The boys room is always a little peaceful.

I used to dred taking these kinds of pictures.

Having a little fun doesn’t hurt at all.

The man of honor making his speech I guess.

Lovely setup by First of April I should say.

I can’t quite figure out how to capture.

He said, “an argument is the most sincere form of communication.” I could not agree more.

I always feel overwhelmed when pictures such as these happen.

I find containing my emotions a little tough too.

Uncle Ric and Mama Janette

The world’s not really in a good place right now
And we can all dwell on everything that’s going wrong
But while it helps to always be on the defensive
Celebrating the good things doesn’t hurt too

Last Monday, my Mama Janette and Uncle Ric
Finally had the church wedding they’ve been waiting
A little over 2 decades in the making

I took the photos like I always do
And as Mama and Uncle wanted it to
Nothing really fancy
I guess when you’ve reached a certain age
You have a better appreciation of what real beauty is
And no, it’s not something that can be seen
But can definitely be felt…

We start of with their Civil wedding back in July.

I could count the people there with my fingers.

Maribojoc’s Mayor officiated the wedding.

Cabinet Secretary Jun Evasco was there as a sponsor.

We had lunch at the Maribojoc Board Walk.

Really happy I learned how to take pictures.

So then when I grow old, I can look and marvel at all of these.

She didn’t want pictures because it was too warm.

Aileen and Manang Malou, Mama’s trusted people.

Miggy and Janice came to celebrate with us from Alabang.

Bishop Bai came all the way from Borongan too!

Uncle Ric sang a song when he and Mama walked together towards the altar.

And then Bishop Bai officiated the marriage rites.

I moved in close too. Like in a real wedding. Haha.

With the principal sponsors and bearers.

Everybody cheered when they exited the church.

Before the reception started, we stopped by the entrace.

I could not be happier they picked this church.

And the closing dance number by Mama and her classmates. “Hands Up!”

First in Cebu vol. 2

February started out a little bit relaxed
And then got a little bit out of hand towards the end
I have no complains, however…
After all, it is all about balance
We only need to understand and accept it as it is

Tomorrow, Janice and Miggy are heading back to Bohol
But I have to work so I’m meeting them there on Sunday
It looks like a busy weekend again
But before we go into that
Here are more of their pictures
When they came by to visit me earlier this month

We slept for a few hours before heading to Bohol.

And there weren’t so many people. It was windy however.

And then chased the skyline penguins, I meant pigeons.

We were so full from eating lechon we enjoyed the swing.

We passed by Lola Daday at the San Miguel Cemetery.

We enjoyed a bottle of beer as soon as we got home to Cebu from Bohol.

When they played badminton, Miggy watched.

We brought cake and wrapped a few presents.

This was for Robin’s 1st Birthday
