Nike and Kyle

Deep into this quarantine
Made me dug deep into the files too
And I realized there’s so many things
That I haven’t written about

This one’s from a brief pre wedding
With Nike and Kyle back in Arcos
It’s a 10-15 minute drive from the house
Where there’s a nice access to a river

They brought a few clothes
But I opted to write about this one
Because it’s who they really are.

I’ve always thought how wonderful it is to take pictures here.

There are quite a few places here to shoot.

I got lucky I kind of bumped into this place.

We started with a little bit of walking.

Because we really can’t get serious like this.

Nike was waiting for a kiss on the lips.

I just asked them to talk like most of the time.

A bit more walking and blurry-ing. Haha.

Jay and Tonette

While everybody’s gone crazy over Money Heist
And Korean drama after another Korean drama these days
I’ve drowned myself watching Gilmore Girls
I think I haven’t really grown up

On the last few minutes of the last episode of the last season
I felt a good ache, like when you finish a good book or a movie
You are happy and sad and wonder what will happen to the characters
They’re so real, you know?
Like you’ve literally injected yourself in the whole story
Rory, I’m so disappointed in you. Haha.

In a way that’s how I feel when I look at wedding photos
It’s wonderful, heartwarming and melancholic at the same time

These photos of Jay and Tonette’s wedding are from 2011
They were the first ones to pay me for pictures
And this was in Baguio City, imagine that

I went through the archives and realized there are things
That I haven’t written about especially
Because I only stared the blog back in 2013

I still see these two from time to time when I travel to Manila
Jay and Tonette, you started it all. Thank You Very Much!!!

It’s been quite a while since that trip to Baguio City.

Tonette found me in Facebook. Hers was only the 3rd wedding that I shot. And she was the first one who offered to pay us.

These pictures will turn 10 years next year.

On the contrary, I don’t find her goofy in person.

Hey little one. I bet you aren’t little now. 9 years after.

Back when themed wedding were catching up.

I recently learned that these bouquet was made by Gideon Hermosa.

Imagine, this as technically our first ever wedding assignment at the Bell Amphitheatre in Baguio City.

I’ve been meeting Jay, Tonette and their kids every now and then.

Luckily, I managed to get a few ones that I really like.

How can I ever thank you, Tonette? For taking a chance on me.

This kind of picture was a thing back then. Haha.

This was a morning wedding and it was sunny and a little warm in Baguio.

Really nostalgic looking at all of these, you know?

And amazing that we came all the way from Cebu City.

I’m not sure what the fuss was here but I think, this is really beautiful.

This may just be the first and last Baguio assignment for me.

These two are now parents of a little girl and an adorable little boy. I’ve took pictures of both.

Adam and Lynelle are Expecting

These were from a few months back
But I kept it for a while
Because the baby won’t be out
Until around the end of this month
An April baby, like me. Haha.

Too bad, we’re all locked up
So I’m might just go out and get a cake
All for myself.

Thank You Adam and Cañada for letting me take these
And I hope all is well down under
See you two again soon, alright?

We went to everybody’s go to place which isn’t really far from the house

There were quite a few people when we arrived.

Where there’s this dirt road that I like.

On their visit to the Philippines before the outbreak.

If I can remember correctly, the baby is coming this month.

Because I had to hurry back for the novena mass of the SInulog.

But more of them too because we alway order a lot of food. Hahaha.

I always love how casual walking pictures look.

Quiet Days

Before every thing came to seemingly hault
I went to Manila a couple of times
These past few years threw me up there once in a while
I never thought it would be quite a lot

Now most if not all flights are grounded
And we’re all confined in the comforts of our houses
Really, I don’t have any complains at all
I could stay in the house for weeks

It’s just good to look back at these pictures
Up there and everwhere
