The Latest Stories Of
Don and Zet
Sometimes it takes a while for words to come out
Like today, for example
I’ve been typing and erasing, over and over
Listening to different songs to get writing going
So I gave up and just wrote these down
It’s still a story after all
And really, there no substitute for these pictures
From Don and Zet’s wedding 2 Saturdays ago.

Tiff and Ricken
Tiff’s wedding to Ricken was my fourth of such kind these days.
And while it is a far cry from the usual, I honestly think I
all for it. No fuss, no grand preparations, terribly close
friends and family, that’s it. It gave me more time to focus
and what’s important. Love.
It was raining around lunchtime when I drove up to Chateau de Busay.
Which meant, no one was at the checkpoints. You know, my pass says
I’m only allowed to go out on Tue-Thu-Sat. Hahaha.
Tiff was already having her make-up done when I arrived so I skipped
the usual routine and roamed around for some pictures. A couple
of hours later, when the sun was setting, she and Ricken exchanged
vows and before it was dark, they were husband and wife. Dinner
followed and I happily sat on a seat reserved for me. Haha.
Thank you Ricken and Tiff. I hope to see you two again soon.

Liana Ysabelle
Around this time of every year, I’m a little bit thrown around. To
Dumaguete, Bohol and even Manila. Over the years, I’ve become
a yearly photographer to some families. Sadly, I missed and will
miss every single one of those sessions. Whew! I hope things get
better soon regardless if there are shoots or not.
I met Olivia many years ago when I took photos for her family.
Luckily they remembered me and invited me to shoot her wedding to
Mat just before last year ended. Fast forward to a few months
they again asked if I can take pictures for their Liana’s Baptism.
Like most work these days, the baptism was quick. After which we
proceeded to Alta Vista for some pictures before parting ways.
Thank You Mat and Olivia. See you again soon. Magnum!

Rheyna and Alvin’s Wedding
barangay. I think they’re the bunch who really stand to loose
a lot because of what’s happening lately. No school, no classmates,
limited play, and perhaps limited understanding as to why we
have to stay at home.
It was the second time we did this and they marvelled at the sights
that they haven’t seen for half a year. I had a lot of fun hearing
their comments and how they recalled that they used to be able to go
here and there just a few months back. When I loaded up gas, they
all docked because they didn’t want to get caught. Funny ones!
Yes! Life seems to have resumed this past month but we are terribly
far from what normal is. Still, I’m happy brave souls like Alvin and
Rheyna decide to go on because these things give us hope. Hope that the future days are going to be better. In the meantime let’s
continue to be kind with each other. We could all use a little kindness these days.

Rheyna and Alvin
the knot during these difficult times. Theirs will be the 3rd
wedding I am going to be a part of since restrictions have eased up a little bit.
Three days ago, Rheyna and Alvin picked me up from my house and just
like the usual, we drove of to a few places I really liked around
the neighborhood. Their Ate Geraldine came with them and brought me
plants too.(Thank You Kap Rey).
Thank You Alvin, Rheyna and Geraldine. I will see you tomorrow.
