J&T in Seoul

I wanted to write about these last pictures of Joy & Tasyo in
Seoul last night but sleepiness got the better of me. Anyway,
these two got married yesterday. And while I really wanted to
be there, I was too scared to sail to Leyte.

These pictures didn’t seem to feel like 2 years old but it is.
It was late in 2019 when we flew to Seoul for these and then
world had better plans.

Still, despite the fact that I’m not particularly a fan of “K”,
I’m thankful this family trust me with their memories.

Beach, Camaraderie, Relaxation and Play

We had to scramble for a place to go on the last minute.
Luckily we were able to book a pool in Carmen. When we got
there, however, we were kind of turned off by the number
of people. This made us decide to drive to Tabuelan.

I remember telling Charles and Raela that things always start
out funny, perhaps borderline bad at time but that it always
is better in the end. On the drive home, we all agreed.
Especially after seeing the beautiful sunset at Tuburan.

We could have gone Island Hopping around the coast of Mactan.
That would have saved us travel time, but, you know, Tabuelan
was nice and the food we brought was even nicer. Island
Hopping next month then?

HIJK vol. 2

Just 5 days after coming home from Bantayan Island, Janice,
Miggy and myself were on the road again. We still headed north
but we took a turn towards Maya instead of driving straight to
Hagnaya. Heinrich, Kim, Johann and Izzy asked us to join
them in Golden Sands for some pictures. We would never miss
something like that. Hahaha.

It, however, rained and rained just as we were about to start.
So we talked and talked the afternoon away and just as we
ate the last piece of our pizza, the rain stopped. Thank You
Heinrich and Kim for allowing me to freeze these memories
for all of time.

HIJK vol. 1

Janice, Miggy and myself got to spend this weekend with
Heinrich, Izzy, Johann and Kim. Golden Sands, in Daanbantayan
was quite a long drive from the city but I didn’t want to miss
taking people pictures there. It was the second weekend when we
drove up North.

I met Johann years back when Kim asked me to shoot a few
pre-birthday and family pictures. This time, I got to know
Izzy too and learned she’ll be celebrating her birthday
towards the end of May.

It rained when we started shooting yesterday. We had to wait for
almost 2 hours but it didn’t matter at all. I’ll reserve the
pictures from yesterday for another time. Meanwhile, here are
some pictures of HIJK from this morning.

Bantayan in the Sun

It’s been 2 years since we last visited Bantayan
So, when a window of opportunity presented itself
We threw some of our anxiety out of the window
And drove early to catch the boat to Santa Fe

It was about mid-morning when we arrived
Which was already terribly warm but we didn’t mind
The kids had the time of their lives as usual
Like us, they didn’t want to come home
Until the next trip then, Thank You Bantayan!
