Turning Two

Not so long ago, I think there was only me and a handful
of people shooting kiddie birthdays. I didn’t plan on doing
it but I thought about all the dessert I can eat while
shooting and so.

These days, I still get invited by a few ones to shoot.
On top of that, these bunch of people expect nothing of
me but to eat dessert and to enjoy taking pictures.
So here are some pictures of Zach (Za Ka Rey as per the host)
when he turned two a week ago I think.

Gloomy but Goodie

Familiar faces have been coming home lately
Such is the reason for a number of family shoots
I’ve been working on these past few months
Which is a good sign, considering the mess these
past two years don’t you think?

It rained almost the whole day so we didn’t know
What was in store for us. When I arrived in Dusit last Sunday,
it was still gloomy but I think these bunch held up.

I met Giselle and the kids many years ago and to have
seen them grow is really marvelous. I guess it’s one of the
perks of being a photographer, you know?

Thank You Giselle & everybody.

Murag Prenup, Murag Dili

It took us so many hours to get to Oslob yesterday. The road
along Minglanilla heading towards Carcar was as terrible as
it could get. Luckily I was with a fun bunch despite being a
decade older than them. When we stopped over for humba in Argao
the place ran out of humba. Nevertheless, Alex Cafe is really
good.

This was another case of more time on the road, more laughter
and fewer time to pose for pictures. But I kept my camera at bay
in case something happens, you know? Like lips to lips :D Hahaha.
I got back in the City around 12 midnight. I didn’t use up
all of my camera’s battery and memory card, but I’m pretty sure
I captured some good times here. Thank You Ma’am Jo, Doc Jon & Friends.

Just in Time

I almost didn’t get to take pictures of Era Nen when she
was pregnant with Ezra a few years back. We talked a little
bit about the concept before I realized it wasn’t something
I could do. The good thing was she understood where I was coming
from and the rest of that is history as these pictures are just
a few of the countless ones I took and will still take of her
and her beautiful family.

This is our first meeting this year because little Eli is
all grown up and she’d love a few pictures with everyone in
the family. The ladies took a while with the make-up and all.
Nevertheless, the sun stayed a little way, just enough
for us to take these.

Hello Dipolog

I rode a plane for the first time in more than 2 years
back in April. Rey and Angel actually asked me for pictures
back in 2020 but of course that never materialized. Luckily,
restrictions were pulled out and I had time to fly to
Dipolog City for the very first time.

Skye was going to be baptised but I flew in earlier which meant
we had time for some family portraits. These were taken by the
boulevard in Dipolog which was nothing short of breath taking.
And of course, it stars the littlest man :)

Dipolog, I think, is also really, really nice o that won’t be
the last time especially because they still have Jo’s Inato back
there. Thank You Rey & Angel.
