The Latest Stories Of
Joanne, Jon & Co
I have wanted to write about these pictures and quite a few more
Before the ew year or Christmas
But the past couple of years haven’t been quite the same
Family, kids and going back to a 9-to-5
Luckily, some days still allow me to lay out a few things
And write a few words to go with it
Jon & Joanne asked me to shoot their wedding a few years back
And then invited me and my kids on Noah’s 1st Birthday back in June.
We kept going back and fourth about where to take these
And then ended up at Ayala Heights were the afternoon sunset didn’t disappoint at all.

Ays & Geh 10 Years and Counting
There are quite a number of things I have forgotten from 10 years ago
Luckily, I have kept this blog up & running all these years
And somehow, it has become a journal of some sort
Letting me travel back in time whenever I wish
I find it hard to believe that I’ve kept this blog alive
For the past 13 years
I ask myself whether to go on or not every single year
And this year’s not any different
However, every time I think of cancelling
The pictures, words and the songs keep holding me back
It looks like I’m just going to try and keep it for as long as I can
Because here’s another addition to the ever growing archive
Absalom & Geraldine’s 10 year anniversary.

Villain Christmas Ride
Last Saturday, I woke up earlier than `I should
I washed my face, prepared the bike bag, kissed my kids
And rode off to Canduman towards the Villain Bike Shop
Carlo organized a Christmas Ride and I thought
I would not miss it for the world
The turnout was great
All-in-all, there were more than 20 of us
We headed towards Lilo-an and took a turn
Towards the barrios where the climbs weren’t so bad
The ride ended with donuts and chit-chat at the Villain Shop
I think I wasn’t too tired when I pedaled home.
It was after all the longest bike ride that I did at 60kms.
Thank You Carlo for organizing the ride!!! Until the next.

Afternoon Delights
When I went back to work, I only meant I’d go back to work
This and a few other things were not part of the plan
I, however, am glad this and the few other things happened, you know?
The number of books I’ve read over the past 6 months
Seem to almost outnumber the books I’ve read in my lifetime. Oh well!
Today, the office book club closed off 2024
Mid-afternoon, we walked towards La Marea for desserts
We exchanged books, ordered warm brownie cups & coffee
And shared stories of our favorite books read this year.
Thank You Everybody!

Celebrating Ezra’s 6th Birthdays
I remember driving early afternoon to Liloan for Ezra’s Birthday Party
There’s a coffee shop I love around their house and driving early meant
I would have time for a latte and perhaps, a cookie?
Era, Ezra’s mom, invited me last minute to take these pictures
They planned a trip but this little one wanted a party instead.
When I arrived, power was out.
Something was shorted at an electrical post nearby
On the contrary, I never sensed panic in the air
Instead, they trusted on whatever good the day had to offer
At around the sane time the previous year, Era & her husband Marc
Passed by the house to pray for and with Janice
This family has been one of those people who stood by our side
And for that, I am forever grateful
Enough of the drama for now
Happy, happy 6th Birthday Ezra
