The Latest Stories Of
11 Years with Seven & Pachille
Seven & Pachille are almost synonymous with my free fall
Into full time photography back in 2013
When we talked about this shoot, we thought 10 years
But really, it’s been 11 years since October of 2013
We missed some years because, you know?
But we’ve shot almost every October of every year since
From that 1st year in Marco Polo, to Dubai…
There are countless of pictures in my archive
When Pach asked if I could come over
I took the earliest Oceanjet just as a storm passed
Drove to their house in Panglao
Took these, and then hurried back home
11 Years.

Celine in Disney
My relationship with the people in the pictures have
Grown quite a bit over the last couple of years
Our lives changed, some got married, had kids,
Moved somewhere across the globe and moved back
Yet here we are still in front and behind a camera
There are countless of pictures between myself and this family
I remember crossing the bridge to Mactan in the height of Covid
If only to celebrate Birthdays with them
We’ve been inseparable since
When they asked if I can tag along to Disney
I didn’t think it was a question
My mind had already began packing
These are some of the pictures when Celine
The family’s first grand child turned one
In nowhere less than Disneyland!!!

Hong Kong
I felt both happy and sad as soon as I stepped out at
the arrivals lobby of the Hong Kong International Airport.
My first thoughts were that my kids should have been there with me
And that their Mama should have been with us too
It was one of those experiences that she and I often talked about
But sadly, it seems like I’d have to do those without her
This was just a brief stay, but I didn’t realize
That grief held a passport too
Hong Kong was warm but kept its charm
Something, that perhaps, only I can appreciate? Haha
I walked around, had coffee, went to Disney, ate noodles
And the next thing I knew, I was on a flight back home
I’ll see you again soon Hong Kong

Bike Scene
I was one of those late people when it came to cycling
Buying my first bike back in 2021, a few months after returning to work
The bike to and from the pier for work was awesome
When we logged off, my colleagues and I
We figured out routes so we could hang around longer
I sold that one and got a gravel bike in the middle of 2022
The office was nearer. This time at the IT Park
Which meant, I took the bike to work almost every day.
I remember having an issue with the pedal one time
Walking from the office to the house was my only choice
I joined the office bike club this year.
Our first ride was across the new bridge, I was ecstatic
Last week, we drove up to Busay
We got new shirts, so a ride was justified
There were only 5 of us but what the
Here are some pictures

Abacus Toastmasters
Many, many years ago, like more than a decade ago
I was elected to lead the Toastmasters Club at Aboitiz
Unfortunately, I had to fly to Singapore for work
Which meant that, that role never quite materialized
When I returned to work in 2021
I kind of forgot all about TM
Only to get reacquainted with the it
As soon as I switched jobs and began to work for NCR in 2022
They have their very own Abacus Toastmasters Club
I don’t think I have the time to return just yet
But I was invited to attend the induction of a brand new set
Of Toastmasters Officers just yesterday evening
As always, I brought a camera with me
Congratulations everybody!
