Eurika told me she purposely didn’t share the blog I wrote
for their wedding because it made her feel vulnerable.
“It kind of depicted who we really are.”, she said.
And I thought, I have done what I needed to do.
Tell a story by staying out of way and letting things
happen as they should.
Their wedding was the last one I shot before face masks became a
norm and lines at the grocery were like Christmas all the time.
A year has passed, and plans have changed, there they were,
in front of my camera yet again. Wanting nothing more but for
me to tell their story the way it should be.
How can I Thank You, Eurika and Erick!
We thought it was going to rain. Luckily, it didn’t.
There was no formal start or what? I just took out my camera and started shooting.
It’s exactly a year since I met these two for the first time.
The last wedding before the lockdown.
Things are still different but we’re all getting by. With a little help from our friends.
We were the only ones at Tops.
A year worth of stories to tell.
I can’t always figure out Tops. Earlier I did.

Like always, I sometimes took a step back.
And came near to resume our stories.
Mid morning the sky cleared.
Flowers for the first year of being married.
What’s so funny?
Afraid of heights.
I ran all the way back.
Here we talked about engineering and stuff.
And life in between.
There was this dog.
And this, and then we said our goodbyes. Thank You, you two!
