As soon as we’d arrive at Circa for the reception, I learned
that the wedding rings didn’t make it to church. Luckily
the officiating priest, was part of the family and he’d gladly
let Kevin and Dew do the whole thing over again before lunch began.
This pandemic put most if not all of us into uncomfortable
places, you know? It set into motion a wave of challenges
and adjustments that we need to be able to get through to come
out breathing. Which is why I’m really thankful I still get
to shoot weddings. I think it just goes to show our fortitude and our faith.
Thank You Kevin and Dewie for having me take these pictures. It’s been wonderful knowing you two.

When I took this, Kevin’s Mama told him to keep the secret. She wouldn’t let me in on it.
Dewie never gave up on her June 2020 wedding until the last minute.
Inside I was a bit scared about that idea but I admired her courage for that.
