In 2016, when I was finding my way
Towards candid family sessions
A family of 5 from Quezon City
Asked to meet me in Boracay for pictures
When I finally met them in Shangri-la
I told myself, “What did I get myself into this time?”
It’s not that they expected a lot from me
It’s just that I didn’t particually know how to begin the session
As much as I love taking pictures
I’ve pretty much understood a long time ago
That this is just work and work come secondary to family
But that’s where it gets me
These bunch, they treat me a lot like family
And I could be any more grateful
On our 2nd day in Taiwan, Zoo was on the agenda.
Hello there.
These three I met in 2016. Chase was born in 2017.
Breakfast. No rice.
Hey Chase.
Everybody wanted their hands on.
Back and front view
Cang lead the way.
I like how this looks like Cang is following the footsteps of her Mom.
With feelings on the right.
A multitude of pandas
The boys.
Despite having a lot of greeneries, I didn’t notice a mosquito.
Chase looking so excited.
Jarr too!
When it drizzled, we found shelter. Chase played with me.
Mother and son working on what we missed on the map.
I can see them from afar.
What’s that?
What???
Jacob here is double checking.
When we saw everything, we called it a day.
And grabbed a snack before heading to church.
Chase likes snacks.
The mass was in Taiwanese. I had to read the Gospel from my phone.
A photo op after the mass.
And some wonderful Japanese style dinner.
We should have gone back.
I didn’t notice this whale at first.
We walked around early the next day. The baby is still asleep.
Cang.
Everybody had Tiger Sugar!
I brought them to the Red House.
Jacob and the sisters.
Cang seeldom asked for photos on this trip. It was Jacob’s turn.
See!
More of Jacob.
He’s been asking me about this blog.
Luckily, I had time to go through this on my flight from Manila earlier.
We then took the train to Taipei 101
We marvelled.
About how it was built.
When we went out it was already dark and Christmas was on the air.
The next day was our last.
We packed our bags.
And ate strawberries for breakfast.
That’s our driver, Jackson.
Hey guys.
This is Anna!
And Jacon’s shoes.
With a rare cameo by myself.
It was a long drive to the airport.
And we passed by the OUtlets at Mitsui first.
Anna and Chase here.
And our last photo while checking in at the airport. They flew straight to Manila while I had to fly to Cebu. See you guys in January.
