When we took this pictures, I asked Nova
How she stumbled her way to me
She said “in Instagram”
And added she liked how candid and real it was in there
While this is basically my cup of tea
It actually takes quite a bit to get the right balance
Where both you and me have to meet at the middle
That’s why it’s pretty important for me to get to know you
So I can take your pictures as you are
These two got married in Baybay, Leyte yesterday
The best thing about it?
Well, we were treated like friends.
Thank You Nova and Brendan
Week prior to this shoot, a storm was upon us
Luckily we managed to reschedule
And found this good place by the sea
It didn’t take them long to explore the cliffs.
Nova, Brendan and myself met in Dubai a little over a year ago
We agreed about this even if they haven’t set a date yet.
I also took the time to meet them before this shoot.
So that I get to know them a little bit more and in turn they get to know me too.
The grasses glowed with the sunset.
I purposely do this lately
Blur the photos.
I enjoyed walking all over the grass.
And how it made everything so easy
I never get tired of shooting this
Glowing with the sunset. Really.
7 years of friendship.
We were just laughing all the way.
I like the rocky paths too.
A little serious now
Closer.
But smiling deep inside I can tell.
I’m really glad about how this afternoon turned out.
I actually didn’t want to stop shooting that day.
Looking at each other.
“There’s something about the look in your eyes”, the song says.
It’s called Echo by Incubus.
Against the hair.
Airplane!
Perhpas my favorite from the day.
We actually arrived early and waited until the sunset.
A little bit closer now.
No words.
These two kept practicing their dance
I just clicked and clicked.
And stepped away when I wanted to.
How close is close enough.
One more turn.
Hair was everywhere but we didn’t mind.
I hope those grasses weren’t itchy
We walked a little bit too
More walking
Before settling with this view
Thank You Brendan and Nova
