This is year number 3 of between myself, AJ, Beth and Wonzo
And, really, I can see many more years of this
So I was surprised that I still felt nervous
I thought, “How I am going to begin this session?”
As a matter of fact, I left my espresso machine’s porta-filter
So I had to drive back home to get it
But things always work out in the end, you now?
You just got to trust yourself
In the same manner that a few people trust you too
Beth and I agreed to a morning, no frills session a few months back
Not anyone of us should take a bath, we said
I hang around, ate breakfast, made coffee and played with Wonzo
In between I took pictures, the same way I always do
This is the front door of their home.
When I arrived at 7AM Wonzo was still asleep.
I had to go home to get the porta-filter, however.
We made morning coffee
AJ woke up a few minutes after
Before breakfast arrived, I roamed around
And took a few stills
We had a nice table discussion
Wonzo opted to say in bed
Until he heard fried chicken.
We looked at our photos from the 2 years we’ve shot
Wonzo distracted from the gadget.
Really cool seeing your photos printed, you know?
From year 2!
After this, Wonzo warmed up to me.
Like always, I stepped back
And I moved in
And took the pictures that moved me

A helmet kind of breakfast.
I told Beth that her house looked a lot like mine.
They had a fighting fish.
Wonzo looked really interested.

These sessions are always heart warming.

Wonzo said he was flying.
He actually saw me take this and winked at me.
