I rarely do morning pre wedding sessions
Unless there was an intent to wait for sunrise
But Dawn asked for pictures via Sweet Escape
So I really didn’t have much of a choice
On my way up to Chateau, I was a bit nervous
I didn’t know what to expect
I was surprised, however, that Dawn and Albert
Were the kind of people that could use up
Every space in my memory card
Random, spontaneous, a little shy and real
I could not be happier we got to know each other
See you around Dawn and Albert
Luckily, we hit if off quickly
Sure there were awkward times but we eased our way out of them
So I stepped back sometimes so they can be themselves
And when they have too much fun, I came near
Some solos too.
It was a good session
We roamed around the Chateau
So I got to use the flowers
The light too was just nice that morning
It actually rained in the afternoon
Which meant, the morning was made for us especially.
Awkward you two?
I love that tree.
We looked for areas to take photos.
I think this was my first session here.
Albert knows a thing or two with the piano.
They got engaged last Friday. So happiness was still fresh.
Look!
Laughter coming from deep inside.
Really, really glad it was them I was shooting
Some serious stuff
But not really
Right?
We just wanted to have a good time
I kinda like sessions like this
Real and unassuming
Just people who are themselves
And not trying to project or convey something
Not formal, not casual, not anything.
Just REAL.
And since that is a rare commodity these days, I’d stick with that.
They were shy sometimes.
But really, we tried to find a lot of things to talk about.
I focused on Albert’s dimple here.
Ten Shun!
The Chateau was nice.
Towards the end we headed upstairs.
At a blank wall
And took standard ID pictures.
But it was fun
How can I ever thank you guys?
Our time was short but it was worth every second
See you here, there and everywhere.
