It took me quite a while to put up these pictures from
A little weekend trip to Ilo-ilo which includes a bit of Gigantes and Guimaras
This trip spurred up successive weekend trips
Taiwan being the next one before Singapore just last weekend
While I had to take pictures at both Ilo-ilo and Taiwan
I had a bit of rest in Singapore where I had my cameras serviced at Canon
I’m always grateful to have met this family, you know?
They take me wherever they go and ask for nothing but pictures
On the 3rd week were heading to Coron
But before that, here are some pictures from our Ilo-ilo trip
We left early Saturday morning for Carles. The jump off point to Gigantes Islands. Cue, careless whisper. If you get what I mean.
The kids are all set and didn’t mind the really early trip.
Off we go.
From this view, the islands look like sleeping giants. Hence the name?
Jacob and Anna.
And there’s the gang.
Anna here is feeling a little bit adventurous. She usually is very careful.
Fresh catch.
We stopped by the sandbar, had lunch and took a dip.
What’s up Anna.
The water was so clear. Those are my feet.
Looking like giants here.
I rarely eat those but they were irresistable.
We didn’t want to pass by this islet but the kids wanted so there.
That little man out there is Jacob.
For dinner we stopped by Farm to Table. And may I say it was the best dinner I have ever had in a long time.
This trip is in celebration of Ate Angel’s Birthday.
The nest day we rose early again for Guimaras.
But the Ro-ro Ferries were full so we passed by La Paz Market for Madge Cafe and Netong’s Batchoy.
Ohhh my!
What’s up Cang?
And Anna?
Chase complaining about Mommy eating his feet.
Those kids are brave. you know?
Our first ever Mango Pizza. What?
Hello Chase.
On our way to Guisi Lighthouse we found a swing.
Of course Cang has to have a solo.
Wonderful beach down there.
This is how difficult it is to get a family photo.
Jacob!
All the girls.
Feeling the adventurer that he is.
The kids enjoyed running around the lighthouse compound.
Everybody!
Jacob there trying to write his name.
And he did.
Cang just couldn’t get enough of the swing.
We finally settled in Raymen.
And the beach was awesome.
These ladies know there ballet stretches.
We played with the stones too.
Sand and saltwater on the toes. Ain’t nothing better.
They also wrote their names.
But of course Cang had to pose where her name is.
It was the most fun that the kids had on that trip.
Christine balanced the stones but from this pictures it looks like Cang made it.
They played tag with their Papa too!
And had beach talks with their Mama by the shore.
However, Cang hasn’t given up yet.
And just like that, it was time for the sun to rest by the horizon.
After breakfast, we played again.
And the ladies followed.
Jacob skipped stones.
Here is Cang!
When we met in 2016, there were only 3 of them.
Cang running to towards the flowers.
Under the mango trees.
Jacob, however, wanted to climb up.
But Chase didn’t like the ground so much.
I like how this picture turned out. I had it in my head before I took it.
Those smiles were immediately turned into scary frowns the next second. Hahaha.
A rare photo of the boys.
Jacob exercising his leaping ability.
Oh yeah! Need I say more?
Anna!
I forgot where this was. Hahaha.
On our last day, we headed to R’Gies!
And said goodbye to the cows in Grand Plains. Hahaha. That’s it.
