Before the reception started, Maebelle shared…,
“I’ve been following you for quite some time Sir Jeff.”
I told her and Darren to call me Jeff but they keep forgetting
That my records do not qualify me to be called “Sir”.
Anyway, she thought I wasn’t from Cebu City
But somehow fate had other plans, our paths crossed and I could not be happier
Darren and her asked Carlo Abaquita to get me to shoot their wedding at Kandaya Resort
It was a long drive to Bogo but it was worth every mile
Their wedding wasn’t excempted from bumps along the road
But these two laughed the day away
It was after all one of the best days of their lives.
Stephen couldn’t come with me because Ashton celebrated his 6th birthday
So I asked helped from another really good photographer that I know, Tim Arrabis

It was our first time shooting in Bogo.

The preparations were from a small room but had wonderful light.
I told you we were laughing the day away.

We were running late but before we left for church, I asked for this pictures.
I first saw this church when I volunteered for Yolanda Relief.
Just before she stepped inside the church.

Darren kissed and embraced hi wife before they walked together towards the altar. I thought it was the coolest thing.

We arrived early in Kandaya so we took pictures underneath the trees.

Darren slept during our break. A good 30-minute power nap.
I thought Maebelle’s bouquet represented every bit of who she is.
So I had to take pictures.
The reception was at the beach front.
The sunset at Kandaya was really nice.
I thought Carlo and his team at Unique did a great job of the setup for the reception.
It was extra ordinary!
Everybody lit sparklers.

Doctor Strange was there too.
