Luis and Melanie’s wedding caught us a little off-guard
There were 2 ceremonies, one at church and one at Chateau by the Sea
Hence, we left the city earlier than the usual so we had enough time
We always just hang around and laugh at silly things on days like these
But we make sure there’s a lot of time to relieve ourselves of the pressure
I’ve been seeing Luis and Melanie every month for the past 12 months
They’ve become like family to me so it didn’t feel like work at all
In a way that’s how I want to present myself, you know?
Like a friend or a family member with a great camera and a better sense of patience
It was quite a long day to say the least
We passed by take home McDonalds chicken, spaghetti and fries because I forgot about dinner.
And a can of beer each before calling it a day
Thank you Luis and Melanie.
The flowers by arranged by Cuckoo Cloud Concepts.
Jomer Arances, whom I recently worked with did Melanie’s make-up
This gown, which looked like art work was made by Philipp Tampus
The ladies checking their hair and make-up.
Luis’s sister who was part of the entourage.
Here’s Melanie.
We were lucky to find an empty room with a huge window.
The kids enjoyed themselves too, you know?
Here’s Luis
After 11 months of shooting, Luis has gotten used to the camera.
Comparing shoes?
Jorge helped Luis with his barong.
And some portraits indoors.
And outdoors too.
I thought this looked cool.
Melanie’s nephew, Marcus, kept asking for pictures.
Flower girl baskets.
Before leaving for church we took a few more pictures.
Here we go.
Melanie kept telling me marrying ain’t easy. So many pictures to be taken.
The weather was punishing but we didn’t mind it too much.
It was better than rain.
The ladies all lined up.
Everybody’s excited.
A prayer maybe?
It’s time!
When I looked back, Luis let out a smile but I knew he was about to cry that’s why.
A kiss to her Papa.
Everybody’s so excited. Hello Jessa!
11 months worth of pre wedding pictures and then this.
Mia says “Peace”.
“They do”
A blessing to the newly weds.
It was a lovely ceremony.
The niece and nephew playing like little groom and bride.
And then the Kiss!
Before heading out to the 2nd ceremony.
We decided to use our spare time for portraits.
I really like the in betweens.
Everybody, walk!
No less than Cuckoo Cloud did all of these.
And this.
The cake in the middle was baked by Butterdream.
When it was a little bit cooler, we started the 2nd ceremony.
Luis and his Mama.
These two renewed their wedding vows in a span of 2 hours.
Some guys opted for direct sunlight.
While Luis and Melanie read personal vows.
Some opted to stay in the shade.
Another blessing by the Pastor.
Melanie then changed and we took a few more photos before the reception.
Really happy for these two.
The in betweens. I told you.
The reception was brilliantly hosted by no less than Mr. Billy Sienes.
The first dance while the sun was setting.
Melanie and her Papa danced to Unforgettable. It was terribly heart warming.
Luis and her Mama danced too.
I was going to end this here. With these ladies trying to catch the bouquet because they don’t want to get married. Hahaha. Seriously ladies? On a lighter note, Thank You again, Luis and Melanie.
