The weather didn’t look like it heard Kent and Michiyo
Before their 4PM wedding at the garden in Chateau de Busay
It drizzled a bit before turning into a full on rain shower past lunchtime
Chiyo wasn’t shaken and said she was going to walk down the aisle at the garden
Someone up there must have heard her heart’s wishes
Because the rain stopped just as we were about to take portraits outside
Like our wedding at Chateau by the Sea days before this one
Kent and Chiyo didn’t want too much fanfare and just wanted the guests to celebrate with them
I bumped into Michiyo before headed home
And I thank her for inviting me over
Like most weddings there were a few bumps in the road
But the day was beautiful as it should be.
Thank You Kent and Chiyo!
We’ve been to Chateau de Busay quite a bit these days.
Chiyo loved hugging the bouquet. She said, “at least there’s something I can do with my hands.”
Good thing we did the whole prenup thing. I guess.
The ladies were goofing around early.
While the boys where just cool.
Chiyo also handed out goods to the bridesmaids.
Here she is writing down what her heart contained on that wonderful, wonderful day. Later she’ll read it to Kent.
It was a little gloomy and drizzling outside so we took more indoor photos.
We did try to go out but went in right away.
Here’s Kent who seems a little more comfortable with the camera
While the gentle men were cheering him on
Yes Sir!
The prenup really helps, you know? It makes you and me connect with each other better.
As always with the gentlemen, we just goof around.
The ladies waiting for their turn.
Chiyo and her brothers! She’s the prettiest. Hahahahahahaha!
It actually did rain but luckily it stopped. Because Chiyo really wanted to have a garden ceremony.
All good with the camera in front already.
I love that door.
The guests all settled.
Here are twins marching down.
Everybody waited for Chiyo to walk towards Kent.
Finally after a little bit of a rollercoaster because of the weather.
Max, Chiyo’s maid of honor.
The day was meant for an outdoor wedding despite the lunchtime rain.
Watchout Kent, Chiyo’s looking at you.
These two kept glancing and talking to each other during the ceremony.
The principal sponsors praying over Kent and Chiyo.
I got as close as I can
Chiyo, this isn’t the prenup anymore. Haha.
We dragged the entourage a bit for some post wedding pictures.
The ground was muddy but it was fun.
I actually lined them up and asked them to walk towards me, but these entourage left Kent and Chiyo at the back.
We were able to capture these, just before all the light disappeared on the horizon.
We’re going to the reception.
The setup was done by our good friends over at Periwinkle.
Welcome, the newly weds!
This guy, I think his name’s Jordan, gets to kiss somebody.
Told you! Hahaha.
Thank You Kent and Chiyo. See you up north alright?
