I had my hands full on my last trip to Dubai last year.
Aside from a few pictures, I met with a few people
Two of them are getting married this year
The first one is Joselet who married Jorge just last Saturday
I remember meeting her at Ben’s Cookies in Dubai Mall
Where I ended up buying a few cookies which were terribly tasty

On her wedding last Saturday, the adults were having so much fun during the preparation
I can hear their laughter from across the hall
It was like a rare gathering of some sort and it made everything a little lighter
There were less than a hundred people who fit Bellini perfectly
Here are some of our pictures.

The day started out at everybody’s favorite dress-up place, Mandarin Plaza Hotel.

When we met a few days before their wedding, Joselet reminded me to not make her pose.

Which I happily obliged to do.

So I let the bridesmen dictate the terms of the pictures.

Meanwhile, on Jorge’s room, it was calm :)

When we reached the stairs, everyone was there so we used the space beneath the stairs instead.

Which I think was pretty cool.

Here’s Jorge.

Having a moment to himself.

These ladies made the whole morning really colorful with all their stories and laughter.

We didn’t ran into delays. We were done an hour before we had to leave.

They even had time to goof around.

And the kids escaped the grip of the adults.

Here’s the bridesmaids, bridesmen and a few kids.

No posey pictures as requested. Hahaha.

I’m beginning to love this part of Mandarin.

Everybody packed on a mini-bus. So cool!

They had time to say their hi and hello to everyone.

The last few weddings we shot were always around this area. Really nice.

And we are underway.

The little chapel was packed.

The priest had a bit of an emergency so we hang out for a while.

Kids being kids at church.

Depite the greenish tone of this church because of the stained glass on the right, I still kinda like it.

Time for the vows.

Followed by the kiss :)

It was my first time shooting a wedding were the newly weds were showered with rice as soon as they exited. (not cooked of course)

Joselet didn’t like to have post wedding pictures but I insisted.

Here she’s laughing because she said she told me “no pictures” but there we were.

The setup at Bellini was done by First of April.

I thought it was really cool that the cake was on the table.

Talk about a long table. This one was TripleX Long.

From the back.

While these two waited for their entrance.

The view from Belini was nice. From here you can see the mountain range where the sun sets.

Thank You Joselet and Jorge for having us. See you in Dubai again sometime. Ok?
