Today, I took the time of to enjoy the afternoon with Cañada and Adam
They recently came home from Perth in Australia
It was also Adam’s Birthday so we decided to grab lunch together
And spend the afternoon checking out some historical places in Cebu
As soon as we realized Adam was serious about it, we took turns
Answering his questions.
Luckily, I remember some of the things we were taught in school
And of course the lyrics to Yoyoy Villame’s song about Magellan.
After a good lunch at Jo’s Chicken, we headed to Magellan’s Cross and the Basilica del Sto. Niño
Our first test was here. Adam asked how the Cebuano’s took Christianity. Answers please. Stephen is already praying, as you can see.
We then proceeded inside.
Where we lit a few candles for this man’s birthday.
P.s. not our candles. Hahaha.
With our guests. I meant the ones who paid for lunch. Thank You Cañada and Adam.
I actually brought my Canon but I thought the iPhone would do.
It’s been quite a while since I went inside.
We asked one of the Lola’s to pray for Adam.
And then off we went to Fort San Pedro.
It was actually really nice in Fort San Pedro.
On one of the room’s area paintings by our good friend’s father. Mr. Manuel Pañares. One of the best!!!
I saw this cat sleeping there. The weather was good for a nap.
Really nice. Don’t you think?
Ash and Stephen.
Adam and Cañada.
No wonder their kids act like these in pictures.
We roamed around the Fort.
Which never grows old actually.
And since it is really nice to eat when it’s raining, we passed by Casa Gorordo.
Which serves really good food.
There.
More pictures.
And then some.
We then headed to Il Corso for dinner. Food Again!
I asked Stephen to take a pictures of me. I rarely have.
Too excited to eat.
Memorizing the menu.
Our sponsors again. Hurray!
It’s a sign.
A song for the birthday celebrant.
And a group picture followed by the principal sponsors.
These three knew each other since High School. There are actually a few of them, but they will do for now.
Happy to be in the picture again.
A little teaser. If you will. Hahahaha. Thanks again, Adam and Cañada.
