Before heading home, I looked for Jose and Robina
They were still taking pictures with family and friends
But I squeezed in so I can thank them for having us
Robina whispered, “thank you for not asking me to smile”
And I remembered that the most
I recalled asking her to look here, there and at the camera
But she was right, I never asked her to smile
And these are our pictures
The preparation happened at Casa Pelaez. which I think is a really nice house to grow up in.
It was drizzling but I found some dry leaves on the sides.
I wonder why these ladies are walking barefoot
The flowers were made by Cuckoo Cloud Concepts and the gown by Mikhail Achas
Weddings are happy, happy days.
I guess they figured where their slippers were.
Boys just goof around, you know?
But they can have decent photos too. Hahaha.
And this made me rethink that!
But then again.
I asked these ladies to look at the taxi passing by.
Who wouldn’t be happy with these flowers?
Robina, like past people I took photos of, didn’t want too many pictures. Hurray!
But I tricked her in to a few.
It’s always good shooting at Casa Pelaez.
Some conversations just before it all started at The Shrine of San Pedro Calungsod
No rain can stop a woman from marrying. No!
Here we go.
I always love seeing this gestures from the gentlemen, you know? Leading their bride to their seat. Ordinary, maybe. But I like it.
This is a marvelous church.
The marriage rites.
There were a good number of people who joined them at the church even if it was raining.
Peace be with everybody.
The whole shebang!
The ceremony’s done. Something to really be happy about.
We made use of the church surroundings for the post ceremony portraits.
One of my favorites from yesterday.
I see a heart. Do you?
The reception was held at Circa 1900. The Cajun Chicken Wings were so tasty!
The event was styled by our good friends at Cuckoo Cloud.
Flower arrangements by Medamme Gizelle Faye.
The cake was made by Butterdream.
It was a packed venue and everyone stayed until the end.
The first dance.
Poor ampalaya!
But the crowd had fun though. All women, as you may have noticed.
Thank You everybody.
