I sometimes get asked to suggest a theme for a pre wedding shoot, you know?
I guess, as a photographer, one would think we have it all sorted out in our heads
And I’d usually answer with a long pause and perhaps a deep breath
Because I don’t know if having one is necessary. I know and I’m sorry

I’d usually say, “why don’t we dress nice, go some place nice and get to know each other”
And the pictures?
Well that can happen in between the conversations and maybe a little bit of a snack?
It’s a recipe for disaster if you ask me but luckily I’m still taking pictures

Reynard and Geris was one of those people who trusted that I knew what I was doing
And for that I am deeply grateful. Here are their wedding pictures.

They didn’t hire a coordinator but I thought the day was flawless

They picked to dress up at Best Western Lex

I knew this two from work many, many years ago.

Like I said, the day went by smoothly. Look how relaxed Geris’s hands are.

These two opted to share a big room for the preparations.

Two cellphones, I guess, reduces the amount of stress.

It was a huge room and I remember there was a lot of food.

Hello Geris!

Thank you for inviting me to take these pictures.

Reynard and his bestman.

However, that guy on the left most, is the absolute best man :P

Reynard and myself worked on the same team back in Aboitiz.

Looking good Nard.

The mighty, mighty tall bridesmaids.

This time I think there were minor repairs needed on the gown.

Being the only daughter, the smiles on Geris’s mama and papa were priceless.

More gown repairs, I think.

It was a happy, happy day.

While they waited for the bride.

Who was having her portraits taken.

Just by the stairs.

And off to the church we go.

They picked the Sacred Heart Church.

Where this view never fails to amaze me.

I, pretty much, agreed with what the priest said that day.

Daduix, the eldest, looking like he is about to cry.

Two of my bosses back in Aboitiz on the right most.

And finally, these two are Mr. and Mrs.

I always thought newly wedded people, during this time, don’t know what’s going on or where to go. Which is pretty much a good metaphor, you know?

The group right outside the church.

If you’ve taken photos for more than 5 years, you can be excused for blurry pictures. Hahaha. It’s art they say.

There’s this nice corner in Sacred Heart.

A wedding is always a great, great day.

I love that streak of light on the upper center.

The reception was held just near at the Casino Espanyol.

The singles game was fun, these two apparently enjoyed every moment of it.

The ladies agreed.

And when everything was said and done, these two went home with new lives to live. Thank You Reynard and Geris.
