The clock said 12:42AM when I began to write these down
I had the option to sleep but I could also choose Dubai time
Which would still be around 9PM in the evening

Just this morning I arrived from a gruelling 14-hour Dubai-Manila-Cebu trip
But I sincerely wanted to write something, like now
While there are still traces of anxiety and adrenalin in my heart

And of course to thank everybody who made these past two weeks
Heartwarming. Really!

And it all started in this already too familiar airport cieling.

A view I don’t ever get tired of taking photos of.

I actually passed by Singapore but didn’t take too many photos because I was out shooting. I left Changi at 10AM and arrived in Dubai at 2:00PM. Here’a a view of one of the many round abouts they have.

And the houses, which looks really nice up top!

First order, Egyptian outfits at the Burj Al Arab! From the people I’ve been shooting since 2013. Seven and Pachille.

This year marks the 5th year that they’ve been married so they took me along with them to Dubai to celebrate.

I would have swam there but it was about to close. Poor me!

All we wanted was a picture with a camel but our tour driver was ……

Here’s Seven wandering off the desert sands of Ras Al Khaimah.

I love hair being blown by the wind, you know?

With the only niece, Scarlet!

The view from our room at The Waldorf Astoria, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.

The walk from the car to the mall was terribly hot but Jason seems to enjoy.

Thank You Jason, Loreen and kids for the warm welcome into your home.

All smiles.

Walk, walk, walk everybody!

Scarlet had enough walking, I suppose!

Of the five years I’ve shot these two, these must be one of the times we were really playful!

Ride until the sunset with you! Right Pach?

I looked up and saw this!

Scarlet had her own shoot too!

And she loved it.

On our way back to Dubai, we saw this patch of land and thought it was lovely!

Reminds me of Forever 21 or Urban Outfitters!

Red sand!

We went for photos at the Abra Boat ride too!

Close!

I just asked them to look at their shoes here.

Pach suggested this alley was nice. She has developed an eye for these things after all these years, you know?

I also had a chance to take a few pictures for a past client back in Cebu City. Thank You Paul, April and their kids.

The sun was about to set when they picked me up but we still managed to capture a few.

Ianne apparently wanted to have her chocolate milk shake at the Arabian Tea House already!

The next day, I shot another client who’s wedding I shot with a good friend back here in Cebu.

Thank You! It was so nice to see you there Riggi, Mia and Heaven!

Sorry Mia, I don’t know how to remove sweat. But I can write. Hahaha!

That afternoon was warm but the light made up for it.

The next day we went out camel hunting but saw these bunch of trees instead.

From our resident baby, Scarlet.

Al Khail!

This is just amazing. Or so I think!

The Burj Al Arab on my mind.

And the sun, near my eyes too!

Thank You Eddie are you walking, Blinken Sy, Jason and Scarlet, Loreen Watch Out, Pach and Seven for everything. Everything was a blast!

The view from iHop!

Of course we needed photos here!

Arbot and Piki took me places. The first place being The Dubai Outlet Mall.

And a few more photos at the Atlantis!

It was already dark outside but with the help from the iPhone!

On my last night, Arvee, Piki, Sabby and Aree took me out to Gordon Ramsey’s Place at the Atlantis. I told Piki the only steak I’ve tried was Beef Steak and it wasn’t well done. It was Bistek Tagalog Style. Thank You always Team Veloso for making me feel like I’m just home! Lechon and others on me and Mama Janette when you come to Bohol next year, OK?

We were the last people to board our flight!

Bye Dubai!

My last view of the Dubai sunset with that star!

And finally, Manila!

I’d also like to thank Brendan and Nova for taking time to see me and handing over so many chocolates. To Camille and Dan who took me out to an awesome Arabian dinner despite having our shoot postponed. To Joselet, for meeting me quickly to ask if I can shoot her wedding here in Cebu on March. Pagong and Marn-marn who asked me to eat a terribly huge burger and bottomless peanuts. And lastly to Jenny, who enrolled me as a beneficiary which allowed me to avail extra affordable trips from Cebu to Singapore and Manila to Cebu, Thank you Mascarding!
