I slept 80% of the time on my way to Philip & Charmaine’s renewal of wedding vows at Club Serena in Moalboal. For some reason, traveling feels right even when I am asleep.
One minute you are in one place, you sleep and by the time you open your eyes, you are where you needed to be.
At the lunch table, I can’t help but notice Charmaine’s worried look. She said it was difficult rewriting her wedding vows.
They say when you need answers you can always sit by the beach and just look at the ocean.
I asked her to put the pen down and continue eating and told her she already knew in her heart what she wanted to say. The words will come out when the right time comes.
During the ceremony, she didn’t even miss a word.
My heart ached with happiness. It was beautiful to hear.
