I’m sure no one maybe interested but Stephen (my best friend & fellow photographer) & I normally begin a Wedding shoot having breakfast at guess where? JOLLIBEE! Our favourite, I believe, is the first branch here in Cebu right at the Rain Tree Mall in Mango Avenue. Yesterday’s wedding? You already know where we began… Hahaha. Before I forget, he normally gets Rice & Corned Beef with Pineapple Juice while I have my daily dose of Pancakes with Chicken Sausage & Coffee!
For some reason, I felt a little bit at ease anticipating Neil & Mia’s Wedding. Probably because I already did their Engagement Session but partly because I just let what I feel flow naturally. I didn’t think about posing, portraits or anything at all. I just approached it like an excited kid opening a new toy. You know? Something that get’s you excited. It’s like you are doing your most favourite thing in the world.
But I still cried, a little bit maybe… Blame it all to Neil for singing to Mia when she walked down the isle. It made my heart skip a beat, it made my heart happy. That’s how it felt. Yesterday Neil & Mia turned 7 years! Wow, that is marvellous and what a way to celebrate —> Getting Married!
I was a little worried when we were about to take the portraits because it was getting dark but we still managed to squeeze out a little light from the dark afternoon skies yesterday. It was the only time I felt a little worried and of course I lost my cellphone somewhere in the reception. Hahaha. Silly me!
Neil & Mia, you guys are amazing!!! You make me believe in wonderful endings, fortunate endings. Thank You for trusting me capture these beautiful memories. It is an honour I will treasure until the end of time…
