It was my first Engagement Shoot right after I resigned from work. Neil & Mia only asked me to shoot their Wedding but I knew in my heart that I had to shoot their Engagement Portraits. It was like a little voice kept pushing me to ask them if I could shoot. Luckily, they agreed and I couldn’t be any happier.
We discussed everything over Facebook and wanted to start if off at Cafe Noriter and end at Camp Marina. I recently learned that Noriter has already been charging for shoots in their cafe, in that case, everything was meant to be for us because we weren’t charged a single penny.
Like most shoots, I had this anxious feeling inside me although I kept on practicing and looking for inspiration the days prior to the shoot. I even sent Mia outfit ideas so they can both mix & match. As soon as I clicked the shutter for my first photograph, everything felt better and I now know why it’s great to have friends around on your Engagement Shoot, they make things a little more exciting. They even carried our things! Hahaha.
We headed of to Camp Marina for the second part of the shoot and I was a little surprised I got more than I the photographs I wanted there. Everything was just beautiful as if the universe guided my me throughout the way. I just kept on clicking and clicking that we had lunch at around 4:30PM? Is that right guys?
Mia & Neil, I can’t wait to shoot your Wedding. I’m sure it will be as beautiful as the day we shot your Engagement Session. Thank you so very much for trusting me tell the story of one of the most beautiful days of your life.
