“Perhaps we can ask for directions from someone”, Sandy said with a worried tone. The sun was already way up there and we found ourselves a little lost on our way to Junjun & Jacky’s Engagement Shoot last week. I must admit, I’m a terribly stubborn photographer and that includes my resistance to Sandy’s suggestion of asking for directions. I don’t know but I sometime want to figure things out myself :( I realized though it’s time to change some of those. After all we wouldn’t be called Green&Purple without Purple… Let’s tell some of those stubborn genes to go home shall we?
Junjun & Jacky came home all the way from Canada to renew their Wedding Vows here in the Philippines. It’s been many, many years since I last saw Jacky (it’s her sister who’s actually my schoolmate), but I was really glad they asked me to shoot their Engagement & Wedding Photographs. We’ve only discussed their shoot over email and it we actually shot these pretty photographs the next day after they arrived… And nope, there’s not a hint of jetlag in their faces :) We actually had so much fun.
Sandy & I finally found our way and our shoot commenced at around 11:30-ish when the sun was directly above us! Luckily, Vistamar’s Boardwalk offered a pretty shade coupled with the awesome sands. Engagement Shoot after engagement shoot, I still find myself nervously trying to take my first shoot :P I guess, it’s going to feel that way forever but I’ve come to embrace it actually :) All part of the job is what they say. After all, I don’t want to take the easy way… Remember “stubborn”…???
Ohhh, did I mention they have a really lovely daughter, Kaye, who for me definitely qualifies as a summer model for a kids clothing line! You’ll meet her as you go through the photographs.
Our afternoon ended at The Aspen Heights in Consolacion. It’s a soon to be completed subdivision and it really was the perfect place to shoot photographs. The light was just superrrr magical :D Junjun & Jacky rode bikes and had especially printer LOVE Cebu shirts. Adorable!!!
We’ll, time for us to rest. We are on the verge of our first back to back Wedding Shoots this year. I hope you enjoy the pretty pictures below.
Love, Love, Love :)
This could make a really pretty billboard… Don’t you think?
Happy Feat :)
Sandy’s shot… Actually my favorite of all the photographs we took that day. I’m lucky to have her on my side. And that’s totally an understatement :)
It was all in all, a really BEAUTIFUL Day :) :) :)
